With a new installation, radiators can be oversized by 30%, where practical, to ensure heat pump efficiencies are maintained.
Many Eco Heating clients have installed a mixture of radiators and underfloor heating that overcomes budgets constraints and installation practicalities.

Underfloor heating is a more efficient way to heat your home. The heating system operates at lower temperatures and delivers heat to where you feel it most, so consumes less energy. Material Construction
Eco Heating provide high quality specialist materials. Pipe construction - The aluminium core provides market leading durability and aids physical installation. Peace of mind comes as standard as the pipe is designed for high working pressure (10bar) and temperature (70C) and is supplied with a 50 year warranty form our German manufacturers.
Manifold Construction
One piece brass manifolds reduce the potential of leaks. Eco Heating manifolds also come complete with isolation valves for ease of filling/purging system thus preventing air locks in underfloor heating pipework.
Eco Heating recommend that the weather compensated control system, within the heat pump, manages the water temperate with adjustable flow meters providing simple balancing of individual circuits where required. However, Thermal actuators (230v) can befitted to circuit valves giving individual room control if required. These actuators can be installed retrospectively without draining the system so reducing the cost of any future changes in requirements.

Zone Control
Eco Heating recommends that the sophisticated heating controls within the heat pump set the internal room temperature to maximise operating efficiency.
Where a complex heating zone control is proposed, a buffer tank may be required. Where Eco Heating is not supplying the under-floor heating system, please ensure your chosen under-floor company contact us regarding zone control.
Installation and commissioning
Installation and commissioning is completed by our specially trained Eco Heating installers. This provides you with the peace of mind that comes from have a single point of responsibility for the project. More importantly, this enables any post installation issues to be identified and resolved with the minimum of effort.
Eco Heating Installation Options:
- Eco Heating supply and install your underfloor heating system.
- Eco Heating supply underfloor materials for others to install. This ensures the system has been designed to maximise your heat pump operating efficiencies
- Eco Heating commission only. Have your installation commissioned by us, prior to heat pump installation for additional peace of mind
Site visits and Project Management
One site survey will be completed free of charge when combined with the heat pump survey. This enables our specialist Eco Heating consultants to fully understand the requirements of your project and to ensure the successful implementation of your heat pump solution.
For more complex installations Eco Heating provide formal project management services to successfully deliver your system.
