Combining over 10 years’ system design and installation experience with 30 plus years know-how from our Swedish manufacturers, we have an unrivalled knowledge of this innovative technology in the UK. Whether you are a self-builder or renovator, a developer, architect or consulting engineer, we can assist you to achieve the most efficient, environmentally friendly and cost effective heating system for your building project. Our systems range from a single 4kW unit to multiple units with a single controller producing around 300kW. With cheaper running costs than oil, LPG, electric and even mains gas systems; our heat pumps will deliver considerable savings over their 20 - 25 year lifespan. As fully accredited installers, we can help you to access the grants available towards the cost of your system. Tax incentives are also on offer for businesses purchasing our qualifying energy efficient technologies. The renewable energy market sector is a growth focused market sector and we are experiencing unrivalled levels of growth year on year. In order to meet this continued demand we are now looking to recruit 3 Technical Sales Consultants to join our team in Sheffield. To discuss the role contact Chris Dale.

The Role
As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will be based in our Head Office in Sheffield. Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for following up customer enquiries, managing the technical quotation and presenting the client with their unique solution. You will be responsible for contacting the client, visiting their project and designing their solution ensuring that the technical capability and their pricing needs are taken into consideration. Ownership of the deal is paramount and you will be expected to build a good working relationship with the client to ensure that the system is delivered to timescales and budget. Most of the clients are engaged through either exhibitions held in conjunction with leading authorities in the self build market place or generated from web enquiries. You will be expected to attend the exhibitions which are held on a quarterly basis and follow these enquiries through to successful conclusion.

The Candiate
Of graduate calibre, you may already have experience of working in a sales targeted environment. You will need a good mathematical understanding to interpret the system designs and will have excellent rapport building and communication skills to enable the customer to fully understand the undertaking of the project. You will thrive in a targeted sales environment and will have a genuine commitment to the renewable energy market sector.

Key skills required:

  • Graduate with a degree (or equivalent qualification) in a science, mathematical or construction related discipline
  • Tenacity to succeed
  • Excellent rapport building and communication skills
  • An understanding of the renewable energy market place
